Welcome to Bellingham Helps Access Music, or BHAM!

Imagine a place where music is not just a passion, but an accessible journey for everyone. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, BHAM is here to help serve as a thriving hub for creativity and connection through music with no barriers—where anyone, from seasoned musicians to enthusiastic beginners, can access the resources they need to: Learn, Practice & Rehearse, Create & Record, Perform, and Connect with music.

In a city with over 800 bands and only a handful of rehearsal spaces, BHAM stands out as a vital resource dedicated to underserved modern music genres like Rock, Pop, Electronic, and Hip-Hop. Our commitment to inclusivity and equity means we offer sliding scale pricing and financial aid programs to ensure that everyone can engage with music, regardless of their background. 

We are filling a crucial gaps in our community with a focus on providing rehearsal and recording studios for bands/musicians, and expanding affordable music education lessons and programs.
